Monstera siltepecana, a flowering plant native to the wet tropical biomes of southern Mexico and Central America, belongs to the genus Monstera. As with other Monstera species, it is a vining plant that develops holes in its leaves as it matures.

Use a chunky soil mix such as any orchid or epiphyte branded potting soil mix.
